Boutwell Farms is a USDA certified organic family farm. We specialize in grass-fed beef and pastured pork for restaurants and individuals in the Alabama, Georgia and North Florida areas.

Our farm uses sustainable, environmentally friendly farm practices to produce high quality meats.  By focusing on our soil, grasses and legume pastures we are able to test our meat products for actual Omega 3, DHA, CLA, mineral and vitamin content. We offer gourmet dry aged beef for maximum flavor and tenderness. Our meat is vacuum-sealed for maximum freshness.

Visit our website, email your inquiries, or contact us by phone. You may need to leave a message as our farm duties often keep us away from the phone.

Country Gardens Farm & Nursery is a family owned farm that has been in our family for 3 generations. We raise grass fed beef, pork and pastured poultry.

All of our animals are raised on pasture all the time. The beef is never fed grain, antibiotics or hormones and the poultry has access to pasture all day. Our beef, pork and eggs are sold at our retail nursery located on the farm along with plants and produce in season.

The beef and pork is butchered under government inspection and sold by the pound frozen. We have several cuts of steaks, roast and ground beef.

Dyal Farm provides naturally-raised, free-range pork that is very flavorful, custom processed, freezer ready, whole or half, with pickup at our local abattoir in the Vidalia area. Also: barbecue size, gift certificates, some wholesale, retail and deliveries. Please call to order, ask questions, or be placed on the waiting list.

Our pigs are born and raised out-of-doors and stay with their mothers for several months, weaning naturally, with curly tails intact. They have plenty of fresh air, sunshine, nonchlorinated water, and fresh clean dirt. They forage our naturally grown crops, including green forage of grasses, brassicas, and legumes, as well as our corn, wheat, and oats. They are supplemented with whole local yellow corn and soybean meal, depending on our yields and rotations. They receive no antibiotics or hormones, no meat or bonemeal, no "junk food."

We are a small family farm. Having grown our own food—milk, eggs, meat and vegetables—for years, we sold our first pork in Spring 2003. We want to provide delicious, healthful, affordable food and are grateful to all our wonderful customers who gave us a try—and came back for more!

"Feeding families a more natural way."

We sell by the half and whole beef, mostly in late fall and early winter. We also sell frozen ground beef in 1 lb packages when available. Our prices include delivery to one of several processors in our area. We can also deliver your purchase for a small agreed upon fee.

Genesis Farms is a multi-generational working farm that strives to meet the demands of an ever-growing population that care about the healthful benefits of hormone and antibiotic-free grassfed beef. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail, Genesis Farms uses natural methods of raising calves on a forage based diet to yield a product not only superior in taste, but in health benefits as well.

Genesis Farms practices a rotational grazing program that helps in nutrient and pasture management, which allows the surrounding environment to thrive as Mother Nature intended. For over eight generations, Genesis Farms has made a commitment to learn and perfect genetics that thrive in a natural setting of diverse forages for proper nourishment and environmental sustainability.

To ensure a quality product, only calves that have been born, raised, and finished on the farm are included in the grassfed program. We do not use antibiotics, animal by products, or growth hormones. Our beef has been tested by a government meat lab to show the high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids derived from this forage only diet.

Beef is available by the specific cut or by the quarter, half, or whole calf. It is sold in a cryovac frozen package and all cuts are boneless.

Little River Natural Beef offers a variety of natural pasture-raised products including beef, chicken, goat, and pork. All our products are raised under specific guidelines:

  1. Animals will consume no grain*, grain by-product, alternative feed (chewing gum), or by-products from other animals. Animals will be maintained and finished on natural grasses and forages. Cereal grains are permissible in the vegetative state. Stored forage should be in the form of cured grass or legume hay. No G.M.O's—forage or not.
  2. Animals will be free from antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides, and confinement.
  3. Animals will be of genetic type with the ability to finish on forage at proper body condition and maturity. This will be established through visual appraisal, genetic verifiers (tenderness gene), carcass testing, or all inclusive.
  4. Animals should be humanely handled and processed with minimum amount of stress and crowding. Cattle disposition should be scored and only animals with suitable scores be eligible. High-strung animals lead to handling difficulties and stress.
  5. Slaughtering and processing of these animals should also be accomplished with minimum of stress. Slaughter facilities should only slaughter forage-fed animals to avoid cross contamination of E-Coli from grain-fed animals.
  6. Animals should not graze land treated with pesticides.
  7. Animals can be vaccinated with approved biologicals and dewormed with products approved for grass-fed animals.
  8. * Some natural grains are used in the finishing of pork and poultry as they are not ruminants and cannot satisfy their nutritional needs with grass and forage alone.

Shaladawn Farm provides veal and freezer beef by the whole or half carcass in the late spring and late fall. The calves are raised "as close to nature's way as possible at this time, and we continue to pursue new ways to improve the naturalness of our operation."

The calves are fed almost entirely on mother's milk and grass/hay prior to finishing, and then grass-finished in the spring and fall. A kelp/salt supplement is available throughout the growth process. Feed antibiotics and hormones are not used at any time. The pastures are not treated with chemical fertilizers. The cows, together with high-density strip grazing, "are our primary tool for pasture development, maintenance, and improvement."

Whippoorwill Farm provides lean, nutritious beef from cattle that graze only on pasture and hay at our small family farm in northeast Georgia. Our cattle are mostly Angus and Jersey cross-breeds. We do not feed them any animal by-products, waste foodstuffs (candy bars, pastries, etc.), antibiotics, hormones, steroids or grains. We also offer brown eggs from our free-ranging hens.

We focus on low-stress and humane treatment of all our animals and employ management intensive grazing to grow healthy animals and to promote biologically diverse ecosystems.

Our beef is processed at an inspected facility and is dry-aged a minimum of 14 days. It is available in whole, half or quarter (split half) portions but smaller amounts are sometimes available. Shipping is not yet currently available. However, since our herd is small we only have a limited supply of beef to offer at any give time. Place your order at any time and we will keep it on file until the next beef is available.

White Oak Pastures has been run by the Harris Family since 1866. We have been raising cattle on this Georgia farm for 5 generations. Respect for our Cattle and for our Land are not new concepts for us.

We are proud of the way that we raise our cattle. We believe that our production system produces beef that is Healthier, Safer, Tastes Better, and is simply the Right Thing to Do. Please visit our website to learn more about it. I also enjoy discussing the way that we produce our product. Feel free to call to discuss our program.

The only product that we produce is a Premium Grassfed Ground Beef. All of the high value steak cuts are included in this ground beef. Nothing is robbed off. This gives it a quality that is unique. See our website to learn how to find it.
