Pastured Products Directory

map  Arizona

A Bar H Farm is located in the southeast corner of Arizona. I partner with Joshua Koehn in activities related to selling and productions. I raise sheep and Josh raises the beef and poultry. Our products are beef, lamb, broilers, eggs and holiday turkeys. Whole and half beeves and lambs are available. The meat is cryovac wrapped and frozen.

Josh and I are like-minded producers who are passionate about offering the best natural product we can. It is our intent to raise tender, tasty and healthy meat and eggs. We raise cattle and sheep as ruminants were meant to be raised: without corn, grain, or distillery products. Our beef and lamb are on green pastures all of their lives with the exception of October and November when it is transitioning from warm weather to cool. At that time our pastures are changing and the cattle and sheep may need to be supplemented with alfalfa hay.

Josh raises the poultry on green pastures as well. They roam freely and are provided with shade, water, feed and protection. A benefit of having poultry in the pastures is that they fertilize the fields naturally. Josh makes his own chicken feed, which assures us that it is free of additives, hormones and other unwanted products.

We sell our meat and eggs to buying groups, CSA groups, and individuals in Flagstaff, Payson, Phoenix, Tucson, and Bisbee, Arizona. The routes are listed on our website.

We welcome visitors to our farms. We feel consumers benefit from knowing who is raising their food.

The M Triangle and Black Ranches have been in our family for over 70 years. We are a family run business spanning five generations.  We are located in the high desert country of southeast Arizona nestled under Mt. Graham. We raise Brangus cattle on approximately 7500 acres.

We are currently enrolled in the rotational grazing and wildlife habitat program with our local NRCS office. Our goal is to produce a grass-fed-all natural beef animal that is grain-, hormone- and antibiotic-free. We do vaccinate our cattle with Ultrabac 8 when they are babies to keep our herd healthy and disease free. We are currently under review for Naturally Grown certification.

We have branched into a poultry business raising free range and natural fed heritage turkeys, chicken and eggs. We sell natural fed pork by the cut or live animal. Our girls are very active in 4-H so we often have day old chicks and show bunnies for sale as well.

We offer transportation of live animals to local packers and pick up points. We welcome visitors to the ranch during roundups or by appointment.

O X Ranch is a small family run operation in Arizona offering grass-fed Angus beef direct to consumers. Quantities offered include: whole, half or quarter beef. Our philosophy is to provide consumers with the best quality grass-fed Angus beef in Arizona.

O X Ranch Angus cattle graze their entire lives on irrigated fields and natural forage in the Upper Sonoran Desert. A carefully managed rotational grazing system allows for rest and invigorated re-growth of the forage.  Health herd is the main focus at O X Ranch. Healthy unstressed lives in the Arizona mountains allows us to not use any antibiotics or hormones in the cattle raised for this program. The results are health benefits for the humans consuming our beef. Grass-fed beef contains lower saturated fat, more Omega 3 fatty acids, more Vitamins A & E, Beta Carotene and CLAs than regular beef.

Customers may place direct orders on our website. Once a deposit is received, the beef is inspected and slaughtered within a 90 day time period, processed at a processor of your choice (or we can recommend one) and delivered frozen to your Arizona doorstep in conveniently sized packages.

Saguaro Juniper Natural Beef is produced by a group of families dedicated to a healthy environment working together on range and pasture land in the San Pedro Valley. Our cattle are raised in a clean, low-stress environment with plenty of exercise. For that reason, we neither need nor use the antibiotics or hormones routinely found in conventional beef production.

Our grassfed beef is available in quarters, halves, and whole carcasses. The cuts are a mixture of T-bones, round steaks, sirloin steaks, shoulder roasts, sirloin tip roasts, rump roasts, Pikes Peak roasts, stew meat, short ribs, soup bones, and ground beef. Maximum flexibility is available with the purchase of a half or whole steer.

Range-finished beef is seasonal. For us to ensure top quality, we primarily offer beef in September or October, after the summer rainy season. Order enough to meet your needs for a year.

San Rafael Valley Natural Beef

100% Grass-Fed is Naturally 100% Organic.

Angus-Hereford cattle are raised in one of the last intact short-grass prairies in the Western US. Towering cottonwoods and riverbeds meander through the high Sonoran grasslands that gently roll across the valley floor.  These cattle eat native Arizona grasses and drink pure water drawn up by windmill from the Coronado Forest Aquifer and watershed that become the headwaters of the Santa Cruz River. At 5000 feet, the ranch is in the heart of the valley, arguably the most beautiful cattle country in Arizona.

All orders are customized, no minimums and customer selections are based on availability. Animals are harvested regularly to keep all orders fresh. Meat is dry aged for 21 days. All cutting, packaging and deliveries are overseen by the owner to maintain the highest standards possible.

These animals never see a feed-lot, never get hormones or antibiotics.  Customers are encouraged to visit the ranch with family and friends.

You are welcome to visit www.srvbeef.com but all orders are done directly by phone or email.

Southern Arizona Grass Fed Beef has been in the business since 1884.  Sustainable range management and humane animal treatment are the backbone of our operation.

We take great pride in managing over 135,000 acres of southern Arizona
grassland and aim to continually improve our stewardship. We are family
owned and operated. Red Angus cattle are raised on all grass diets gaining weight slowly without the use of antibiotics nor hormones.

The University of Arizona tests our beef for nutritional content and has found up to 6 times the levels of Omega 3s in our beef than that of natural salmon as well as UNSATURATED fat levels approaching 90% with high CLA levels.

Processing takes place in a local federally inspected plant with our approved label.

We currently sell locally (Tucson +/- 75 miles). Please email us for a current price list. We sell select cuts, family boxes (most popular) as well as quarters to wholes. Thank you
